Cactus Society - Croydon
The branch was founded in 1952 to provide a focal point
for growers of cacti and the other succulent plants in
the Croydon area to meet regularly and share their common
interest to learn more about the hobby.

Airport Model Flying Club
We are a small friendly club of approximately 90 members
who's skill level varies from beginners in the hobby to
the more advanced flyer. We fly at two flying sites, one
at the old Croydon Airport (public flying site) and the
main one at Ficklshole, New Addington (private flying site).

The Croydon Astronomical Society is a charity whose objectives
are to help & educate members & the public to
acquire a knowledge of Astronomy and allied subjects.
The CAS does not charge a subscription but instead rely
on the generosity of our members & visitors in donating

Croydon Camera Club, founded in 1890, is one of England's
oldest photographic societies. Today we are a Club of
enthusiastic photographers with a wide range of styles
and interests. We meet every Wednesday evening (except
during August) in the Croydon area

Coin Auctions
Croydon Coin Auctions held their first sale on 4th March
1983 at Croydon Parish Church Hall. Since this first auction
of 610 lots there have been regular auctions including
the 'South of England Collection'. The average auction
is now 900 lots.

of RSPB members. Each of these groups are run by volunteers
who aim to promote the RSPB within their locality, recruit
new members, raise funds and engage in their favorite pastime

The Society was formed in 1972 and manages about 146 plots
at the South Croydon site. The standard sized plot is 10
rods (approximately 250 sq. metres) but half sized plots
and plots of other areas are also available.
