CROYDON CLUBS & SOCIETIES

  • The Croydon Society
    The Society was founded in 1975, European Heritage year, in response to the outcry at the many historic buildings being demolished at that time in Croydon (e.g. the Whitgift School), and is affiliated with the Civic Trust and many other organisations such as the Green Belt Council and English Heritage.
  • Advanced Motorists South London Group
    The South of London Group is a Registered Charity with the aims of the improvement of the standards of driving and the advancement of Road Safety. To this end, they encourage all motorists to take the Advanced Driving Test, and offer them guidance on preparation.

  • British Computer Society - Kingston & Croydon Branch

  • Croydon Airport Society
    With 700 members dedicated to preserving the story of London's major airport from 1920 until being phased out in favour of Heathrow during the forties and fifties.

    The Drinking Club with a Running Problem.....! Old Coulsdon HHH runs every week, alternate Sunday mornings (at 11 a.m.) and Monday evenings (at 7.30 p.m.) mainly in East Surrey / NW Kent. All ages are welcome, and all species (human and canine). Runs cost £1 which includes a bag'o'crisps and a mug'o'beer.
